Our sessions are held on the last Saturday of the month with one broad theme each month, professionally facilitated, with the conversation shaped by the people in the room rather than by a predetermined motion.

OUR SOLUTION

Debait is a small, moderated debating club based in London that gives people at grassroot level an opportunity to discuss issues impacting society.

Each monthly session brings together up to 20 participants to explore one broad theme in a structured, facilitated environment that encourages:

  • listening as much as speaking
  • curiosity over certainty
  • disagreement without disrespect

WHO IS DEBAIT FOR

Debait is for people who:

  • care about society and public life
  • enjoy thinking critically and listening carefully
  • are willing to have their views challenged – and to challenge others respectfully

You do not need to be an expert. You just need to be open, engaged and respectful.
